• Tooth shape – A special 4 to 6 tooth spacing per inch and a positive tooth angle of 10° provides the following benefits: – Faster and more aggressive sawing. – Improved dissipation of the heat generated during sawing ensures a longer life of the tooth blade. – Deeper curved teeth ensure more efficient chip removal, preventing clogging and heating. – The specially shaped tooth angle has less tendency to jam when sawing thinner materials. – The teeth have alternating positions to minimize bending and friction. – The lower cutting pressure required for sawing is achieved through a suitable combination of aggressive tooth geometry and good chip evacuation.
• Tooth material – Matrix II premium high-speed steel is used for the tooth part of the circular saw. Matrix II steel contains 8% cobalt, which allows the tooth to retain its original hardness even at high operating temperatures when sawing metals. – Bi-metal construction – High-speed steel teeth laser-welded to the saw body made of high-alloy steel. The teeth are hardened in vacuum at 600°C to a hardness of 65 HRC, which guarantees maximum service life. – Thanks to the high wear resistance of Matrix II steel, these circular saws are suitable for sawing hard materials such as stainless steel, acid-resistant steel as well as softer materials such as wood.
• Saw body – With a wall thickness of 1.27 mm, the circular saw body is rigid, which allows it to retain its shape, but is also flexible enough. – The effective cutting depth is 41 mm.
• Back Wall Construction – The back walls are made of thick steel, which ensures that the exact diameter of the hole is maintained even after prolonged use. The back wall adds strength and rigidity, minimizing vibrations. – 4 holes for easy positioning of the clamping mandrel. – Perfect centering of the rear wall is a prerequisite for good saw quality, especially for large diameters.
