TKM 400 - basic set

Description:

The TMK 400 “Big Boy” is the largest and most powerful cutting head from the TMK product family. It was originally developed for the felling of large trees in Central Europe, powered by custom-designed cylinders that give it the ability to cut down trees up to 400mm thick. Big Boy is suitable for excavators weighing from 10 to 30 tons. The cutting head opens up to 1,070 mm and, thanks to its low weight, can cut not only small stands and shrubs, but also large trunks.

The sturdy structure of the TMK 400 withstands the stresses of felling large trees and yet the total weight is kept below 560 kg as standard!

The recommended hydraulic pressure for the Big Boy is between 220 – 320 bar, depending on the cylinder chosen.
