BaSt-Ing MECHANICAL SPINDLE WEDGE VALFIX

ValFix is the lightest spindle wedge on the market – with less than 1.4 kg of dead weight and a lifting force of over 15 t, it generates more than 1000 g (!) of lifting force per 1 g of dead weight.

Valfix works with a very flat wedge angle. Thanks to this low angle, it can be constructed very easily and still generate
a high lifting force.

In order to achieve
a practical stroke height despite the low wedge angle,
it has a completely new spindle design. The ValFix spindle is partially integrated. This means that half of the spindle is protected in the splitting wedge and only the other half of the spindle is exposed. In this way, sufficient wedge stroke is achieved due to the long spindle stroke.

Lubricators on both threaded nuts
ensure easy maintenance and sufficient lubrication even on long working days.
